In the Data table, the header fields can be edited to better matching the properties of the elements. For example, when analyzing water supply elements.
This article discusses:
- Editing the header in the Data table
- Saving search settings
- Grouping and coloring items according to the grouping
Editing the header in the Data table
The header data can be edited in the preferences. Press the Edit view icon in the top right corner.
A new window opens. On the left side (Available properties) you can add new properties using the search field. Then press the plus button to add it to the information displayed.
On the right side of the window (Selected columns) are the visible records. These can be unchecked with the X button and reordered with the arrow keys. The top one is shown first on the left.
Saving search settings
You can save frequently used search settings to your own memory.
Press the save button and enter a descriptive name for the search.
In the future, you can select a preset search from the top right of the Data tab under Select preset
Grouping and coloring items according to the grouping
Objects can be grouped according to several hierarchies, for example, watersewer as a main group and manhole diameters as a subgroup.
The grouping is defined by dragging the grouping fields to the grouping row above the table.
Based on the grouping, the elements on the map can be coloured by pressing the colour palette icon.
You can change the colour values of an object to your liking by pressing the colour after the grouping.
